The objectives of this new ongoing Strategic Planning Committee are
1. Develop a Process Map and keep it updated. Be owners and keepers of this tool. 2. Take initiative to communicate with the Board to help them use the Map and follow it. 3. Orient new Board members to the SP Process and the Process Map and its importance as a tool.
. Desired outcomes of this Strategic Issues Planning Process defined as:
. Specific recommendations for implementation of all 27 strategic planning issues not rejected by the Board at their January 28, 2010 Study Session.
. Positive acceptance of the implementation results by most SCV residents
. SCV residents feel fully communicated with throughout the process.
. A positive impact on our community in supporting our Mission and Vision.
. Maintained and improved economic viability and property values in SCV.
. The Process Map is recognized as a valuable tool for ongoing implementation of strategic plans.
