Residential Energy Efficient Property Federal Tax Credits As authorized by the Economic Stabilization Act of 2008, and amended by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.  The following link shows the complete list of Federal tax credits enacted in October of 2008 and amended in January of 2009.  The link is to the EPA-DOE "Energy Star" web site, a complete listing describing each opportunity for a tax credit, the time frame in which each improvement must be made, and how to use IRS form 5695 in order to claim the tax credits:

The State of Arizona Solar Energy Tax Credit.  For taxable years after January 1, 1995, the State of Arizona provides a tax credit for an individual who installs a solar energy device in his/her residence in Arizona.  (AZ Form 310). See:

Utility Rebates.  Both Tucson Electric Power and Southwest Gas Company provide incentives for installing solar energy systems and other energy efficient residential devices.  See:

The Solar Green Committee Assists in the education of homeowners and staff in energy, water and other conservation related subjects.  It meets bi-monthly and as needed.
